The Juvent wind power plants, the solar plants on Mont-Soleil and the La Goule hydroelectric power plant feed their generated electricity into the La Goule grid. All these facilities are combined in the Swiss Energypark. In recent years, between 80% and 95% of the annual electricity needs of the companies and the 21,000 inhabitants have been covered by local and sustainable electricity. The Swiss Energypark is a pilot region for the energy transition. It offers the opportunity to test, evaluate and implement solutions to increase self-consumption at a regional level.
