The Institute for Economy and the Environment (IWÖ-HSG) at University of St. Gallen is dedicated to research and teaching management of renewable energies and climate solutions. The institute has an expertise in investigating social acceptance and business models for renewable energies and electric mobility. IWÖ-HSG co-leads the CircuBAT subproject 7 ‘Sustainable Business Model’. Their research focusses on the business dynamics of circular EV battery solutions. With simulation assessments of customer-business interactions, the insights support the business model development and strategy formation towards a circular economy of EV batteries.
